Yangon - Bagan - Mandalay - Amarapura - Inwa - Pyin Oo Lwin - Yangon(B,L,D)

 

Day 1. Yangon Arrival

 

Upon arrival to Yangon International our guide will accompany you to your hotel. Stay overnight in Yangon.

 

Day 2. Yangon Sightseeing

 

After breakfast, your day will begin with sightseeing around the old colonial city of Yangon. First, visit Botahtaung pagoda which a truely unique and  amazing building style which hosts a strand of hair of The Lord Buddha. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant. After lunch, shop at your own leisure at Bogyoke (Scott) Market was built in 1926, where you can find anything in Myanmar, from common products like clothing foods to luxurious goods like gems, jewellery and souvenirs. Enjoy the sunset view from the Shwedagon Pagoda – a golden pagoda of the capital – transfer to hotel and  enjoy dinner at “Kara wait” with traditional dances and shows it seems to be the best ending for the day. Return to your hotel and overnight in Yangon.

Day 3. Yangon fly to Bagan

 

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport. Hop on a short flight to Bagan where the afternoon will be spend watching some of the many highlights of this famous archaeological site. On arrival Bagan, starts with visit to the Myingaba village area by horse cart. First, visit Gubyaukgyi Temple, Nanpaya temple, built in the Mon style with intricate stone carvings, and see the huge Buddha images in Manuha Pagoda. Lunch will be served at local restaurant. After lunch, visit 11th century Pyatsashwegu, showing frescoes with ancient Mon captions on the interior walls. Stop at Myazedi stupa to see Myanmar’s ‘Rosetta Stone’, bearing inscriptions written in four languages. Amongst them the 12th century Thatbyinnyu Temple which towers over the rest of the city. Finally, Shwesandaw Pagoda, a ceiling image is a high pagoda with steps leading up the four sides. Visitors like to climb up the western face to view and there is a handrail for safety where a clear view of the sunset can be seen. After that, return to your hotel and overnight in Bagan. Dinner will be served at your stay hotel.

 

Day 4. Bagan fly to Mandalay – Amarapura – Inwa

 

Breakfast at hotel in early morning, you will be transferred to Nyaung U airport and take a short flight to Mandalay. Mandalay is the second largest and the last royal city of the country. After check in hotel and shot fresh up, starts visit the Maha Gandayone monastery, the Kuthodaw Pagoda and proceed to Mahamuni Pagoda. Afternoon sightseeing includes the Shwenandaw Monastery is the single remaining major structure of the original wooden Royal Palace today. Lunch will be served at local restaurant. After lunch, proceed to Amarapura. Take the ferry boat across DuTaWaDee river and see the vegetable and mango tree firms at BaGaYar and take a horse cart to Eva.  The Bagaya monastery was built on the southwest of Inwa palace on 1593 during HsinPhyu Shin's reign (1763-1776) Mel Nu Oke Kyung, and return back Amarapura and enjoy the beauty of sunset on the 1.2km - long U-Bein wooden bridge across Taungthaman Lake. It is busy throughout the day but sees the most activity at dusk: fishermen in the still waters, and people walking and cycling from one end to the other on their way home from work Overnight in Mandalay. Dinner will be served at your stay hotel.

 

Day 5. Mandalay - Pyin Oo Lwin sightseeing

 

After breakfast drive to PyinOoLwina former British Colonial Hill Station. Originally named Maymyo, the town is popular for its beautiful botanical gardens, built by Turkish prisoners of war during the First World War. Other highlights to take in are Purcell tower, the morning vegetable market and NaungKanGyiPaya from where the entire town can be seen. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant. After lunch, visit the National Botanical Garden which was established in 1915 and is a famous attraction of PyinOoLwin. Proceed on to see the beautiful scenery of Pwe-Kauk waterfall. After a day in this picturesque town drive back to Mandalay. Overnight in Mandalay. Dinner will be served at your hotel.

 

Day 6. Mandalay fly back to Yangon

 

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Mandalay airport and take the morning flight to Yangon. You will be transferred to your hotel. Either spend an afternoon strolling through town and shopping or leisure day at Yangon. Lunch will be served at local restaurant and dinner will be served at your hotel.

 

Day 7. Yangon Departure

 

Today, our guide will pick you up at your hotel and transfer you to the airport for your onward flight.
