This intensive, 5-day, 4-night tour of Myanmar allows you to explore breathtaking, historic temples, unparalleled scenery, and the local, time-honored traditions of the country. If you want to see all the most beautiful highlights of Myanmar in a shorter trip, or wish to supplement another tour, this is for you.

Day 1: Yangon Arrival

 

Upon arrival Yangon, Capital of Myanmar (known as the Golden Land), our guide will accompany you to your hotel where you settle in before visiting the magnificent Schwedagon Pagoda for sunset. Your guide will then show you the culinary highlights of Yangon's Downtown a short walking distance to your hotel.

Day 2: Yangon Sightseeing

 

Your city tour starts at Botahtaung Pagoda, with a walk downtown along Strand Road and the Yangon River towards Pansoedan Street and the historic colonial buildings. You’ll also see:

 

  • Sule Pagoda

  • City Hall

  • Mahabandola Garden

  • Immanuel Baptist Church.

 

In the afternoon you'll visit Chauk Htat Gyi Pagoda (“Reclining Buddha”) and go shopping at Bogyoke (Scott) Market. End your day on a high with the sunset view over Shwedagon Pagoda and dinner at “Kara Wait”. You’ll also be able to see traditional dancing before returning to your hotel in Yangon.

Day 3: Yangon – Bago- Kyaikhtiyo (Golden Rock)

 

Our guide will pick you up at your hotel, proceed to Kayaikhtiyo which is situated in MON State. On the way, you'll be able to visit Bago. Sightseeing includes Shwe Maw Daw Pagoda, and the ShweTha Lyaung Reclining Buddha Image. After that you'll make visits to a cheroot factory in Bago and the historic Kyaik Pon Buddha Images. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant. After lunch, you'll proceed to four huge sitting Buddhas placed back-to-back around a huge square pillar. From there you'll continue to Maha Cedi Pagoda, from which upper most terraces, magnificent panoramic view of the Bago Plains can be seen. After that, you'll drive to Kyaikhtiyo Pagoda, located about 1100 meters about sea level. You'll stay overnight in the Kim Pun base camp of Kyaikhtiyo pagoda (Golden Rock). Dinner will be served at your stay hotel.

Day 4: Kyaikhtiyo ( Golden Rock)- Yangon

 

After breakfast at your hotel, we'll take an open truck for 11 km (approximately 45 minutes) drive over a steep but well-paved road. This road leads to the upper staging point of Yathetaung camp. Upon arrival at the base camp you'll hop on a local truck to make the journey to the top of the mountain. Then it’s just a short walk to reach the glittering Golden Rock and its amazing views.

 

The Kyaikhtiyo Pagoda is likely to be one of Myanmar's most spiritual experiences. Afterwards, we'll come down from the mountain directly to Kimpun base camp. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant. After lunch, drive back to Yangonand you will transferred to your hotel. Dinner will be served at your stay hotel.

Day 5: Yangon Departure

 

Today, our guide will pick you up at your hotel and transfer you to the airport for your onward flight.
